Privacy Policy – Jettify.app (Member or Customer Usage)

1. Data Controller and Contact Person

VGL Innovations Oy's customer who provides the Jettify.app service (e.g., marina, yacht club, or other organization) acts as the data controller for your personal data.

All requests regarding privacy and your rights (e.g., data correction, deletion, restriction of processing) should be directed directly to the relevant organization.

The service is provided and maintained by:

VGL Innovations Oy acts as the data processor according to the data controller's instructions.

2. Collected Personal Data

The data controller may use the Jettify service to store and process the following data:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Boat information (name, registration number, dimensions, home port)
• Reservation, storage, and event data (e.g., registrations, attendance information)
• Free-form additional information that the organization may collect, e.g., in connection with event registrations

Data can be entered either:

• By the user themselves (e.g., via forms) or
• By the data controller (e.g., from member registers or Membra system integration).

3. Purpose of Personal Data Processing

Data is processed only for purposes defined by the data controller, such as:

• Management of marina or yacht club operations (berth and winter storage spaces, events)
• Communication between user and organization
• Management of event registrations and participant lists

Data is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Data Retention Period

The data controller (B2B customer) is responsible for data retention.

If the user no longer has any connection to the data controller in the Jettify service (e.g., membership or customer relationship ended), the data is deleted from the service within 3 months at the latest.

5. Data Location and Recipients

• Personal data is stored on servers located within the EU/EEA area.
• The service's technical maintenance and communication use subcontractors:

• DigitalOcean (EU) – server environment
• Brevo (EU) – email communication
• AWS (EU) – email communication

There is no intention to transfer personal data outside the EU or EEA.

Service providers (DigitalOcean, AWS) are US companies, but personal data is processed within the EU area and GDPR-required safeguards are applied (e.g., EU model contract clauses).

6. Google Sheets Integration

Jettify enables optional integration with Google Sheets service, which can only be used by super users authorized by the data controller. Through the integration, they can export event participant data to their own Google Workspace environment.

Data transfer occurs only with the user's explicit permission (OAuth login), and Jettify does not gain other access to the user's Google account information.

7. User Rights

According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• access your data
• request correction or deletion of data
• request restriction of processing or object to processing
• request transfer of data from one system to another (where applicable)

All requests should be directed to the data controller (marina, yacht club, etc.) who is responsible for processing your data in the Jettify service.

8. Changes to Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated as needed, for example due to legislative changes or service development. The latest version is always available through the Jettify.app service.
